Manifesting Her Dreams
In September 2001 through June 2005, Dr. Blinston made one of her biggest dreams a reality. She graduated with her Ph.D. from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology.
People's dreams are so often stifled when they are repeatedly told that what they propose to do or accomplish is "impossible", "crazy", or even "stupid". Dr. Blinston heard similar responses when she announced in September of 2001, on her matriculation into the Ph.D. program, she would finish the 5-6 year program in 4 years.
Labeled "an enigma", Dr. Blinston not only completed the program, she concurrently completed three of the institute's four specialization programs. She did indeed graduate in 4 years, with a Ph.D. diploma and three specialization certificates (Creative Expression, Spiritual Guidance, and Transpersonal Education & Research).

Unimagined Pay-Offs
Due to her decision to walk through her fear of student loans and potential hardship, she walked into an atmosphere that provided unbelievable benefits and extraordinary perks. She has met and become acquainted with some of the biggest names in a variety of fields around the world. She was featured in a documentary, Science of the Soul, and she has spoken at venues in Europe as well as the United States. All of this was the result of her decision to go for her dream. What a priceless pay-off she has received.
Transpersonal Study Topics
While at school, Dr. Blinston focused her study on consciousness, mysticism and profound spiritual experiences, spiritual guidance, and creative expression (use of the expressive arts). Although she attended a school of psychology, she was quite clear she did not want to be a clinical psychologist. While attending the institute, Dr. Blinston became acutely aware of the short-comings of the medical model often used in psychotherapy.
Doctoral Dissertation Research
Dr. Blinston's doctoral research explored the lifelong spiritual and psychological aftereffects of religious apparitions experienced in childhood. An experiencer herself, her research affirmed to her that miracles happen everyday, and there is much more to life than what we are led to believe is "possible". In fact, miracles may actually be everyday occurrences that people either don't believe, disregard, or are too afraid to tell for fear of being labeled "crazy". Sadly, many people do not realize their fullest potential simply because of the disempowering input of the people around them.
Spirituality and Money
While a second-year doctoral student, Dr. Blinston began an intense study of "spirituality and money". She intended to develop this topic for speaking engagements. Little did she know that what she was discovering would have a profound personal effect. That study is still ongoing and has become a part of her spiritual practice. She now uses her knowledge of spiritual principles to help others overcome outdated and negative programming concerning money, success, and their ability to manifest their hearts' desires. Dr. Blinston joyously proclaims, "I'm not a 'head shrinker'; I'm a 'soul expander'. I'm in the business of expanding souls, consciousness, and horizons."
Energy Psychology
In 2003 Dr. Blinston began studying and utilizing a modality known as Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). It is an effective method for dissolving the blocks experienced by people who are trying to manifest their dreams.
Energy Medicine
In the Spring of 2002 Dr. Blinston began her training in Reiki and received her attunement and "Reiki I" certification. In the Fall of 2002 she received her second attunement and her "Reiki II" certification.
